On Sunday 3rd August 2014, Genevieve Magazine kicked off activities for its Genevieve Pink Ball with the launch of the Genevieve Pinkball Lipstain. It was made by one of Nigeria’s leading make-up brands House of TARA.

The Isreali and Palestinian governments have
agreed to a 3-day cease-fire beginning from
tomorrow August 5th. The 3-day cease fire,
which was proposed by Egypt, will be a "pure
humanitarian cease-fire," with no military
action.
Both governments are expected to sit
tomorrow and deliberate on their terms and
conditions for a total cease fire.
Earlier today, Egypt which is serving as a
mediator, presented the Palestinians' demands
to Israel, which includes an end to the
blockade on Gaza of goods and people, the
release of recently rearrested prisoners who
had been freed in the Gilad Shalit prisoner
exchange; the reconstruction of Gaza,
including the port and the airport; and the
extension of Palestinian fishing rights to 12
nautical miles.
Israel on Sunday began withdrawing troops
from areas of Gaza after saying that its
military had completed a main objective of the
ground assault - the destruction of infiltration
tunnels from Gaza into Israeli communities on
the border with the coastal strip.
Though both sides have agreed to the cease-
fire, they still seem suspicious of one another.

"The onus is on Hamas," Israeli government
spokesman Mark Regev said shortly after
announcing on CNN's "The Lead with Jake
Tapper" that Israel had accepted the
Egyptian proposal.
"We are entering this with our eyes
open. ...We have been burnt more than
once."
The sentiment was similar from Hamas
spokesman Osama Hamdan, who told CNN
as long as Israel honors the agreement, so
will the Palestinians.
News of the cease-fire comes as Israeli
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed
Monday to finish the military operation to
destroy Hamas' network of tunnels.
"This operation will end only when quiet and
security are restored to the citizens of Israel
for a lengthy period," he said.
The remaining tunnels are few, according to
IDF spokeswoman Lt. Libby Weiss. "Those
remaining numbers are in the single digits,
between one and three," she said.

E.T.C was born on the 19th Oct, 1984 into the family of Mr. Titus Aderemi & Mrs Adebola Aderemi. He attended Elibel Int`l Nur/Pry School Abesan, Ipaja Lagos, Nigeria. He also attended Community Grammar School, Ipaja Lagos, Nigeria and went further to the Lagos State University (LASU) where he studied Computer Science (Bsc.). Thereafter he traveled to Singapore where he studied Basic Safety & Firefighting (STCW95) at Singapore Polytechnic.
Finally, he went ahead to study at Aerospace University Instrumentation, at Saint Petersburg, Russia where he bagged a Certificate in Russian Language. He started singing at a tender age of eleven, he was a choir member in church, and he plays the drum set and three facet drums. 20-year-old Morgan Udama, a member of a 4-man robbery gang arrested yesterday August 4th by police officers attached to Okota Isolo Police Station in Lagos, while confessing, said he was recruited into criminal life by his own older brother, Oche, who is the leader of the robbery gang.
Morgan, a native of Oju in Benue State said he came into Lagos last week Monday July 28th to live with his brother who had promised him a better job which unknown to him was armed robbery
“I finished Senior Secondary School 3 (SSS3) in 2010 at Otupo, after which I was riding commercial motorcycle (Okada) before my brother, Oche, phoned me to come to Lagos, pledging that he would find me a better work that would fetch me enough saving for my university education. He also told me he was living in a three-bedroom flat, unknown to me that the one-room apartment he inhabited with his elder brother belonged to the latter. When I arrived last Monday, he asked me to follow him to take up an employment. When we got there, he snatched a woman’s car with pistol. I was surprised. When I asked him if robbery was the work he found for me, he said “yes,” assuring that very soon, I would be counting millions of naira. The mistake I made was that I still entered the snatched car. I should have left them because I was standing at a very good distance. But I feared that people at the scene might later lynch me if I did not follow them.”
Morgan and the other gang members - Suleiman Abdullahi, 23, from Bida, Niger State; Samson Oyebanji, 23, from Oro in Kwara State and John Oche, 26, his brother, were arrested following a tip off.
According to the police, the gang had on Saturday night August 2nd snatched a Honda car belonging to one woman at Gbagada General Hospital Junction, Gbagada, Lagos and afterwards drove the car to an estate in Okota Isolo area.
The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Okota Isolo Police Station, CSP Adamu Ibrahim got wind of their presence in his territory and he immediately mobilized his men to trace them. On sighting the police men, the robbers sped off towards the Ire-Akari Estate, parked the car and took to their heels.
They were all eventually arrested at different locations in and outside the estate.
Oche, the brother to Morgan and a commercial driver who runs the Oshodi-Ajah route said his brother was lying, saying Morgan was a big criminal who ran to Lagos after committing a crime in Otukpo Benue state.
“My role was to drive the snatched car out of the robbery scene. My brother (Morgan) is a big liar. I did not invite him to Lagos. He committed a serious offence in Otrupo and ran to Lagos,” he said.
Suleiman one of the robbers said Oche was the owner of the pistol used in the operation, adding: “We did not shoot the woman; we just collected her Honda car.” he said
In an exclusive interview with Sahara TV, Davido, who is currently in the US, said his recent online beef with Wizkid was because of the shade Wizkid threw regarding their concerts in the US...
"It's not beef at all..but I'm the type of person if I feel something..to me everything you do, you don't hit your brother down. This is the first time I'm saying this but the only reason I was upset was because of the NY concert.
